Yes. I am curious too. The conventional wisdom is that Russia copies Ukraine, and they are about 6 months behind. Let us hope they stay that far behind.
Agreed. Competion is good. Also decentralised production vs Russian missile strikes. But you can’t have everything. To make out you have to choose. The abilities to defend big cities/ Ukrainians and strike russian energy infrastructure are vital. P.s. Ukraine should also stop young men to leave the country!
Fabian, I try to share what you write with people that would be interested. Thanks for your reporting. I am trying to make sense of what is going on now. I have questions about some of these Ukrainian drone manufacturers. Do you have any idea how investing in them works? This is not a right away thing for me, but I would like to know if you know about this end of it, because it seems like the drone tech is what Ukraine has to offer. I also see that the US wants to get ahold of it, because Trump and Putin divvy up Ukraine. The discussions right now about how Putin has been able to dangle the right carrots in front of Trump, that is profit for his businesses in Trump's selling out Ukraine, and of course Europe make me wonder. I do not think Ukraine should be sharing their know how at this point, unless they can make a deal. Trump is not to be trusted though.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and insights with your readers.
I very much appreciate this.

Thank you for this article and all the time and effort you put into it. Good luck with finishing your PhD!
Curious how this compares to the Russian arsenal and their overlap / different strategies

Too many variants for effective production!
Maybe. There is a good amount of competition, which is good.
But at one point Ukraine needs to pick a winner and role with it.

Wow, so much domestic innovation!
